My old roof started leaking about a year ago. Didn't really want to replace it (who does?), but... when I decided to bite the bullet and get a new roof, I was shocked at how unprofessional and unresponsive local roofers were. Steve at Aaby got back to me promptly after I requested a quote and was an excellent communicator from that point on. He is very passionate about what he does, is knowledgeable, and just an overall great guy - exactly the kind of person I want to do business with, especially on something as big as your roof. He spent a lot of time with my family and I explaining every step of the process, and I'm thrilled with the outcome. Without a doubt the best roofing experience I could have. Aaby construction sets the standard on... quality, and customer service for their field. My roofing job had to be delayed over winter and Steve still took the time to keep in touch to let me know he was ready to rock and roll when the better weather hit. They took care of my insurance claim as well, keeping my involvement to a bare minimum, which I also appreciated. Steve, the owner of this company, wants you to be satisfied with his work. He will be more than... happy to make sure that you too are happy. After I had signed off on a difficult roofing and restoration job that Aaby did I noticed a couple of small details that I wanted further work on and Steve went to great effort to take care of the matter to my satisfaction. At the peak of his busy season, and after I had signed off on the job! Not many other companies would go to this length. In addition, he is completely honest and isn't pushy or greedy. I'm very satisfied with Aaby, and I'm glad to be able to recommend this company! I'm not an easy customer to please, either. I was taught by some pretty demanding "old school" craftsmen and so I'm pretty demanding myself. Good work, Steve! Your prices, quality and your response leave the rest in the dust. Fast forward two years: my old garage needed restoration. It was quite a challenge: I'd had several others look at the job and I had no confidence that any of them were even capable of understanding what needed to be done. I would recommend Aaby Construction to friends and family. Dealing with contractors both at work... and at home, I truly appreciate when people call back and update you in a timely manner. Steve is on top of it. I always heard back from him in a reasonable amount of time and was kept well informed. Steve seems very honest and helpful. I had him come over to see if our roof needed repair since I... suspected it was damaged. He spent a long time looking it over and explaining everything to me. We had our home and shed roof replaced by Aaby Construction due to a hail storm claim. He easily... navigated everything we needed to do through our insurance company. After the initial claim set up, I never once had to be in contact with my insurance company. Steve took care of the rest. Steve and his crew were very thorough and very professional.
